In our first attempt at entering the Singapore Sustainability Awards’ call for application, Elmich Pte Ltd won the Top Honour title under the Green Technology Awards for Small and Medium Enterprise. As an eco-friendly company, we were honoured to be the sole recipient of the Top Honour title organised by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) who represents 21,500 companies, as well as some local and foreign business chambers in Singapore. When the monsoon rains battered Myanmar, it caused heavy floods which affected 11 out of 14 regions in the country, with no hope of the people rebuilding their lives till the storms abated. Houses, schools and hospitals were all washed away into the torrential rains and there were deadly landslides. There was no food, no water and little shelter. Many people have lost their homes and everything they owned. They needed help, any kind of help. Read more

The organisation celebrated its 30th Anniversary on 16th July 2015 at the Singapore Island Country Club. It was an Aloha Fiesta – Hawaiian themed party, which was well received by attendees, with most taking pains to come in floral or brightly coloured attire, flowers in their hair, plus everyone used a floral lei garland which was given to all in their ”goodie bag”.
