VersiDrain® P-Anchor®

What is VersiDrain® P-Anchor®

VersiDrain® P-Anchor® is a lightweight under screed drainage mat installed between the structural slab and the screed. It drains entrapped water in the finishes’ cement screed via perforations in the mat to the drainage channel.

Implementing drainage within the floor layers reduces efflorescence that occurs due to the migration of water and salts from the screed to the floor surface. It also reduces cracking of the screed and the floor surface, caused by the pressure build-up from efflorescence.

Preparation of Installation Area

1.Ensure that substrate must be smooth and even.

2.Ensure that fall is towards drainage outlet/s.

3.Protect VersiDrain® P-Anchor® from excessive UV exposure by storing under tarpaulin or under shade when time from delivery to installation exceeds one week.

Lay Under Screed Drainage Mats

1.Position drainage mats with studs down directly on substrate/waterproofing membrane.

2.Align and snap on interlocking pins and corresponding interlocking holes of adjacent mats to form a continuous carpet over installation area.

3.Cut mats with shears to size or to fit into corners, plinth areas or curved areas, drainage gully or as necessary.

Geotextile, Wire Mesh & Cement Screed
