The Brunei Cancer Centre (TBCC) is a new 13-storey building with a budget of BN$100 million, regulated by the Ministry of Health. Construction commenced in year 2012 and the establishment will adopt global best practices and bring in state-of-the-art facilities to cater for local patients seeking cancer treatments, thus negating the need for treatments abroad.

A group of young architects from DP Architects (DPA) thought that bus stops need not be just functional. National Gallery Singapore was opened on 24th November after a decade of building and preparations. The opening was celebrated with gusto, gathering 170,000 people within the first two weeks. This modern art museum was converted from the former Supreme Court and City Hall buildings, both of which were built in the 1900s. The two historic monuments were combined and transformed into one grand museum without losing the integrity of their original architecture.
