A fountain to dazzle @ Mandarin Oriental Hotel KLCC

Visitors to the Kuala Lumpur City Centre at dusk are treated to a dazzling synchronized display of water, lights and colour in front of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The large granite pavers of the prominent water fountain feature are supported by VersiJack height and slope adjustable pedestals, each with a compressive strength of 1.5 tonnes. Read more

Understanding ABC Waters Design Features

Elmich joined Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) in conducting a seminar under the BOA-SIA CPD programme at the premises of SIA on 26 September 2013. The seminar addressed the Addendum to the Public Utilities Board (PUB) code of practice on surface water drainage published in June 2013 in which the maximum allowable peak runoff from a development discharged to public drains was specified and also the various options available to meet the new requirements and how designs may be impacted. Minimising Heat Transfer on Rooftops

VersiJack® pedestals used on the rooftop of the Office of Estate and Development (OED) at the National University of Singapore created a raised paver deck and walkways around Elmich Extensive Green Roof plots in shallow planter boxes on the roof garden. The cavity space beneath the raised decking in combination with insulation provided by the green roof minimizes heat transfer from the rooftop to the office space below. Read more
