PS21 ExCEL Convention, incorporating an exhibition by the various public service departments, was held this year at the ITE College Central from 14-15 November. The annual event organised by the Singapore Public Service Division showcases innovative developments and demonstrates improvements in productivity made by the public service sector over the years.
Elmich’s VGP Green Wall (the only private sector exhibit) was exhibited alongside the National Parks’ (NParks’) booth to support their aim to educate and raise awareness about Skyrise Greenery which includes green roofs and vertical greenery. Information boards displayed at the booth highlighted the important role Skyrise Greenery plays in Singapore’s vision of becoming a City in a Garden where nature is closely intertwined with the urban landscape.
Elmich’s VGP Green Wall provided visitors and convention participants as well as ITE College Central students with close-up vertical greenery experience. The convention and exhibition venue at the ITE College Central, where Elmich’s collection of VGM Green Walls totaling 5300 m2 (the world’s largest green wall project) stands, also helps to demonstrate and reinforce the role vertical greenery plays in environmental sustainability in the light of intensifying need for liveable and sustainable cities.
