VersiTank® installed in the landscaped grounds of Teban Vista create visually attractive “dry pond/rain garden” features that provide effective at source management of stormwater.
Slow percolation of rainwater from the surface into the tank followed by infiltration into the immediate substrate, allows stormwater to be filtered at source. Residence time of runoff prolonged by this slow process also minimises downstream impact from high volumes of water in torrential downpours which often lead to flooding. Aboveground phytoremediation by plants filter particulates and their associated pollutants in the runoff. The system prevents waterlogged grounds and creates usable recreational space while also improving aesthetics of the HDB estate.
