Elmich Green Roof @ HDB Multi Storey Car Park at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1

The roof of a multi-storey car park at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 in Singapore was recently given a make-over with the installation of an Elmich Green Roof. The green roof uses the VersiDrain 25P to provide water retention and drainage, and a geotextile filter fabric to retain the lightweight planting media. Read more

VersiJack at Kindergarten Water Pool, Japan

VersiJack pedestals were used to support bearers in a water pool to improve safety at a Kindergarten. The bearers allow pre-assembled timber decks to be placed over the pool during winter, when partially frozen water in the pool becomes a hazard. The loose laid removable deck is disassembled after winter for the pool to be used again. This allows the kindergarten to satisfy a requirement in Japan that such pools must be covered in winter for safety reasons. Additionally, the deck creates a usable amenity space in winter when the pool is not in use. Read more

Elmich Green Wall and VersiCell Sub-soil Drainage Modules at Pinnacle@Duxton

The Pinnacle@Duxton, a 50-storey public housing project is unique in Singapore history. Many features set it apart from other HDB housing projects. It is the first housing project in the world with two unique sky-bridges linking the seven blocks at the 26th and 50th storey. The sky bridges form a jogging track on the rooftop at a height of 156m and create possibly the longest continuous sky-garden in the world. The Pinnacle’s sky garden is also currently one of the country’s tallest observatory decks accessible to the public. Read more

The Westbury – Sydney, Australia

The Westbury, a Sydney apartment block built in the early 1930s, recently underwent a makeover, including the addition of a rooftop garden, to give it a new lease of life. As the old building does not have balconies, making additional recreational and communal space on its revitalised rooftop is highly prized. Elmich was privileged to have supplied various specialty products for this interesting project. Read more

Elmich Green Roof At Woodlands Waterfront – Coastal Promenade

Part of a nine-hectare park along a stretch of coastline in Woodlands, the 1.5 kilometre long promenade is a linear recreational and fitness trail offering unobstructed, expansive views of the Johor Straits. The coastal promenade, in the form of a boardwalk will be built over the seawall, cantilevered to bring visitors closer to the water’s edge. Read more

SpiraPave At The Arte @ Thomson

SpiraPave pedestals are currently being installed at The Arte @ Thomson to support granite pavers at very low heights. SpiraPave is the new generation pedestal designed and produced by Elmich. The pedestal consists of top and bottom components paired to create different heights, and can be further height adjusted in 1mm increments. A minimum height of 12mm also allows SpiraPave to be used in areas where conventional pedestals are generally too high. Read more

VersiDrain 6P At United World College of South East Asia, Singapore

About 4,000 sq m of Elmich VersiDrain 6P was installed recently at the rooftop of a new 2-storey bus park with rooftop playcourts at the United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) at Dover Road, Singapore. UWCSEA is an independent, non-profit International school offering full primary as well as secondary education in Singapore. The school’s main campus at Dover Road is the largest of the 13 United World College (UWC) schools, a movement founded by the German educationalist Kurt Hahn with the mission of bringing together students from all over the world and developing them as global citizens. Green Wall – Helping “Green Efforts Today For A Better Tomorrow”

Elmich Green Wall is helping Singapore’s Housing & Development Board (HDB) bring home the message that environmental issues relating to climate change and global warming are very real and that green efforts must be made today for a better and sustainable tomorrow. VersiCell At Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort

Located along the Marina Bay waterfront, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s 2nd casino-based integrated resort, is a landmark featuring three cascading hotel towers topped by a unique linked sky park that will distinguish it from other buildings in the Bay.
