Elmich Creates New Greening Possibilities in Cambodia

Mr Wavven Ng Sheng Wei, a graduate from Temasek Polytechnic, School of Design, Diploma of Environment Design, has won the Elmich Course Medal Silver Award for his Final Year Project, Portsdown Residences. We would like to extend our congratulations to him and showcase some of his outstanding architectural renderings:

The Lycée Francais de Singapour (LFS) has expanded rapidly since it was founded in 1967. When the French school of Singapore moved to its current site at Ang Mo Kio, the campus was designed to accommodate 1,000 students. Over the past years, student numbers were increasing constantly and eventually the Executive Committee had to make a decision to build a bigger campus to cater to this growing student population.
As a testament to its onus on sustainability, Elmich’s Green Roof, Green Wall, Drainage, and Turf & Slope Stabilizer products have been awarded the Very Good rating (2-ticks) under the Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certification scheme administered by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC). These products are the first in their respective product categories to achieve this distinction. Read more

In the heart of Sydney’s heritage precinct, is the multi-award winning two-storey Forest Lodge ECO House designed by Code Green Pty Ltd. Originally, one of the last vacant blocks in the city, Chris Knierim, Managing Director of Code Green approached the council with the assumption that they would want the design to blend in with the rest of the heritage homes in the street. Instead, the City of Sydney Council encouraged a contemporary design that would be distinctly 21st century.
