To provide pedestal support for paver installation at pool surrounds.

VersiJack pedestals with spacer tabs attached were positioned at both ends of the swimming pool deck. Pavers were then installed using the spacer tabs for even spacing between pavers. The raised pool deck created serves to hide services, facilitates efficient surface drainage and eliminates efflorescence.

ION Orchard – Singapore

To provide bearer support for installation of raised wooden decking to conceal the many services required by a café outlet.

VersiJack pedestals extended with 4 proprietary extenders were installed to support bearers using bearer holders for the installation of a raised wooden deck along the side corridor walkway of the building hiding large pipes and other services required by the cafe. The corridor walkway being exposed and subject to rain in a downpour the raised platform also minimises inconvenience to the cafe by facilitating quick drainage and discharge of rainwater.

International Business Park – Singapore

To provide both bearer and paver support for landscaped roof garden.

VersiJack pedestals extended to the appropriate height with proprietary extenders were installed to support granite pavers around the landscape planter boxes and to support bearers for the installation of a wooden deck along the main corridor of the roof garden. Spacer tabs were used for accurate alignment of the pavers and wooden bearers used to secure bearer holders for installation of the decking. Integrated locking rings and slope correctors in the pedestals were used to lock down the desired height of each pedestal and make adjustments for fall in the floor slab respectively. The entire trafficable area of the roof garden is raised eliminating the formation of efflorescence and algae on the pavers, facilitating quick drainage after a downpour and limiting sound and heat transfer to the floor below.

Orchard Central Mall – Singapore

To provide paver support and conceal services and pump system for water fountain feature.

VersiJack high strength pedestals extended with 9 extenders to approximately 800 mm were positioned in a deep trough to support heavy pavers to create a void beneath with sufficient depth to conceal an elaborate pump system for a water fountain feature. Necessary adjustments for slope and height were made with the integrated slope corrector and screw and locking ring system in the pedestal respectively and minor height differentials corrected with rubber shims. The water fountain feature with programmed light and water display is now a point of focus on the ground floor of the shopping mall.

Masjid Asy-Syakirin – Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia

To provide support for pavers to make available approximately 2000 m2 of additional prayer area and to conceal services below.

VersiJack SJP extended with extenders to appropriate heights and VersiJack STP were positioned directly over the floor slab and steel structures to support heavy thick 50mm concrete pavers. A slope corrector and a screw and locking ring system incorporated in the pedestals were utilized to account for any fall in the slab and to make height adjustments. Rubber shims were placed over spacer tabs on the pedestal top both to make minor height adjustments and provide insulation to reduce vibration and sound transfer. Decorative marble pavers were then installed over the concrete pavers creating an impressive extensive level area to accommodate more worshippers.

KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital – Singapore

To provide bearer support for timber decking and conceal large drainage pipes and services beneath without compromising existing waterproofing.

VersiJack pedestals extended with 3 extenders to the appropriate height were positioned in spaced rows. Fall in the floor slab and accurate height adjustments did not pose a problem with the aid of a slope corrector and a height adjusting screw and lock ring system for height adjustments integrated in each pedestal. Bearers to accept the decking were securely installed on to the pedestals using bearer holders. The raised timber decking converts the previously inaccessible area originally reserved for services to additional amenity and recreational space for the hospital.

Merrill Lynch Harbourfront – Singapore

To provide paver support and conceal services in a large reflective pool feature.

VersiJack pedestals with height raised with 2 extenders were positioned in the entire pool area. Height adjustments and compensation for fall in the floor slab were easily carried out with the aid of specific integrated features in each pedestal. Minor detail height adjustments were made by placing rubber shims between pedestal top and paver. Pipes and services were effectively concealed below the raised pavers installed beneath water level. The unbroken mirror images in the water of colourful glass sculptures lit only by natural light from the glass ceiling above create an attractive reflective pool.

BMW Showroom – Singapore

To provide support for drainage cells forming raised base for decorative pebbles to be installed in water fountain feature and conceal pump equipment beneath.

VersiJack slope and height adjustable pedestals extended with 6 extenders were positioned in the deep trough to support installation of closely abutted drainage cells secured with cable-ties allowing pump equipment for the fountain to be concealed beneath. Decorative pebbles were positioned over the drainage cells up to just below water level. VersiJack is not affected by moulds and algae and a hollow internal core allowed cement ballasts to be used for added stability.

Alexandra Arch – Telok Blangah Hill Park across Alexandra Road to the HortPark, Singapore

To provide support for pavers with 40 mm thickness weighing approximately 90 kg each and eliminate formation of efflorescence over the 80 m long bridge.

VersiJack slope and height adjustable pedestals were positioned on the bridge to support heavy pavers eliminating the need for heavy sand and mortar beds and problems associated with efflorescence and differential expansion between the steel bridge and pavers. Raised pavers facilitate rapid drainage and allow electrical services to be concealed.

Bugis+, Singapore

To provide efficient drainage and void filler in deep planter boxes.

VersiTank were assembled and positioned over the waterproofing membrane in the deep planter boxes providing an insulation layer protecting the membrane. A geotextile filter fabric layer was then installed over the tanks and planting media placed in the planter boxes above the geotextile. VersiTank acts as a drainage cell with large internal void as well as a void filler to reduce the volume of planting media required to fill the deep planter boxes. VersiTank has high compressive strength and is able to resist the combine weight of the planting media and the large trees installed in the planter boxes.
