Envisioned as a “Campus-in-a-Park”, this project seamlessly integrates nature with urban design, achieving a 100% landscape replacement area. It features communal planters, green walls, sky and roof gardens and an ecological pond, all of which provide ecosystem services and regulate microclimates, which are integrated with social interaction spaces. The project also incorporates Active Beautiful Clean (ABC) natural stormwater management features such as rain gardens and biotopes that naturally filter runoff before it flows into public drains.
Communal Sky Terrace
VersiCell® lightweight, high strength modular drainage cells were installed beneath the soil and within the planters at the communal sky terrace, roof garden, cascading green terrace, and digital canyon to facilitate efficient drainage of excess water, preventing waterlogging. Additionally, drip irrigation systems were added to ensure the health of the vegetation.

Green Communal Lawn & Campus Court (Fire Engine Accessway)
Emergency fire engine access areas were created using TurfPave® XD grass pavers installed beneath the ground at the Green Communal Lawn and the Campus Court. TurfPave® XD’s porous structure allows rainwater to infiltrate the ground, protecting the grass roots against compaction and effectively supporting loads imposed by large fire trucks and human traffic.
Rain Gardens (Rainwater Harvesting System)
VersiTank® modules enveloped with geotextile were installed underneath the rain gardens, creating an underground stormwater detention tank (i.e. rainwater harvesting system). Rainwater is naturally filtered through rain gardens before being collected in the tank and reused for irrigating green spaces, significantly reducing the dependence on potable water. Thanks to its modular design and portability, VersiTank® can be easily configured to suit the unique requirements of any site.
