Elmich conducted a seminar on “Waterproofing for Below Ground Structures“ under the BOA-SIA CPD programme at the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) premises on 27 October 2016.
The seminar was well-received with more than 80 participants in attendance comprising a mix of architects and engineers. The presenter, Mr Eugene Ang, Senior Manager of Waterproofing Business in Elmich shared valuable insights on what is important when specifying, designing and constructing below ground structures.
The seminar was evaluated highly by the participants, with comments that it was very informative and well-structured. This is the third presentation relating to Waterproofing and Drainage Protection held in collaboration with SIA that Elmich has conducted.
When the Company was first established in 1985, its core business was primarily in the distribution of bitumen coatings for public housing projects. Not long after, Elmich became the first Southeast Asia Company to have attained ISO 9001 for waterproofing. Hence, with a remarkable 31 years of experience in supporting waterproofing specifications, Elmich hopes to impart our waterproofing knowledge more frequently and present new topics requested by the participants.
