At this year’s Archifest, held from 15-17 May at Marina Bay Sands, Elmich as a strategic partner of this premier architecture event, themed the booth around our commitment to sustainability and a common mission to collaborate with architects to build climate-resilient cities.
Our team proudly introduced our urban greenery landscaping and waterproofing products and systems to local and international architects, developers, and visitors. Our Managing Director, Mr Martin Toh had the honour to host Senior Minister of State for Ministry for National Development & Ministry of Communications and Information , Mr Tan Kiat How at the event launch.
Elmich’s installation of an open Raised Timber Deck with a Wheelchair Accessible Ramp captivated many onlookers at the event. This impressive setup showcased VersiJack® height and slope adjustable pedestals supporting Onewood’s homogeneous reconstituted timber planks. To establish a smooth and gradual inclination for the wheelchair-accessible ramp, Top and Bottom Slope Correctors were added on both the top and base of the VersiJack® pedestals. This combination demonstrated the versatility of our VersiJack® pedestal system for paving and decking.
Green Wall at Business Matching Lounge
Installed by Prince’s Landscape and sponsored by Elmich, the Green Wall at the Business Matching Lounge (adjacent to the F&B Area and Cafe Lounge) became a captivating centerpiece. VersiWall® GP (VGP) 2060 Trays were elegantly mounted on a free-standing wire mesh, ensuring easy access for installation and relocation.
About Archifest
Singapore Archifest is an annual architecture festival commissioned by the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA). It aims to bring together industry professionals as well as members of the general public to celebrate the city’s architecture and built environment, whilst engaging in meaningful and productive architectural discourse. For Singapore Archifest 2024, on exhibit is also the internationally-celebrated Venice Architecture Biennale 2023 Singapore Pavilion.
