Elmich’s VGP green wall was successfully incorporated in the Balcony Gardens competition entry by The Nature Company at the Singapore Garden Festival 2014, held at Gardens By The Bay this year from 16 to 24 August. Covering a major portion of the right wall of the balcony, the VGP Green Wall stood highly visible, both above and through the glass balcony rails, as icing on the cake in the delightful balcony garden design by Mr Alan Wong. The entry which attracted many captivated visitors went on to clinch the “GOLD” award under the Balcony Gardens category of the competition.

A series of mini talks were also presented over the duration of the Festival to introduce and educate the general public about the advantages of the VGP Green Wall system for DIY use in residential homes. Enthusiastic listeners were told how easy it is to establish a mini decorative vertical garden and or vegetable or herb gardens in their home balconies without need to give up too much valuable space, using the simple VGP system and also that professional results can be easily achieved DIY.
