To establish raised composite decks and pavers at the condominium’s sky terraces (Sky Garden).

Constructing Wheelchair Accessible Ramp (Image 1 to 5)
Top and Bottom Slope Correctors were affixed on the VersiJack^® pedestals’ top and base respectively to establish the gradual inclination of the wheelchair accessible ramp. The aluminium joists rested on the bearer holders and were secured in place with screws. The composite deck boards were then fastened onto the joists. Barrel Extenders were stacked onto the VersiJack^® pedestals for additional height. As the specified pedestal heights were more than 500 mm, a proprietary bracing system (VJ Brace) was included for additional lateral stability.

Deck by Panoramic Sky Pool (Image 6 to 11)
Installation similar to constructing the Wheelchair Accessible Ramp (excluding the bottom slope corrector). Resistance to mould and algae renders VersiJack^® pedestals ideally suitable for installations in constantly wet and damp environments.

Deck at Sky Gourmet Pavilion & Sky Lounge 2 (Image 12 to 16)
Installation similar to constructing the Wheelchair Accessible Ramp (excluding the slope correctors and VJ Brace). VersiJack^® pedestals allow unsightly services (e.g. pipes and electrical cables) to be concealed within the cavity under the elevated platform allowing easy access when required.

Children’s Playground & Sky Lounge 1 (Image 17 to 19)
VersiJack^® pedestals were also installed to support the raised pavers at the Children’s Playground and Sky Lounge 1. A layer of porous EPDM rubber flooring/artificial turf was then installed onto the pavers.

The Gate Hotel Tokyo By Hulic, Japan

To establish an outdoor raised floor at the hotel’s open terraces at level 4.

Elmich’s VersiJack^® height and slope adjustable pedestals were used to support the raised pavers on The Gate Hotel Tokyo’s open terraces at level 4. Unsightly services are hidden beneath the raised pavers but are readily accessible for maintenance when required. Necessary adjustments for height were made with the screw and locking ring system in the pedestal creating a level surface for members and guests.

Mandai Wildlife West

To establish fire-resistant raised timber decks at the outdoor seating areas of the cafes and restaurants.

Due to the stringent fire & safety building requirements of this project, a fire-resistant version of VersiJack^® (i.e. VersiJack^® F FR) height & slope adjustable pedestals and aluminium joists were installed to support the raised timber decks of the outdoor seating areas of the cafes and restaurants. Unsightly services are hidden beneath the raised timber decks but are readily accessible for maintenance when required. Necessary height adjustments were made with the screw and locking ring system in the pedestal, creating a level surface for members and guests.

Surbana Jurong Campus, Singapore

To waterproof the rooftop terraces, establish raised wooden decks on the rooftop terraces and provide drainage beneath the planter boxes.

Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention, Singapore

To construct a raised floor with safety support panels.

Raised Floor Installation

VersiScape™ Safety Support Panels supported by VersiJack^® height adjustable pedestals were used to construct the raised floor. Porcelain tiles in variable & conventional layouts were laid on half of the VersiScape™ Safety Support Panels, whilst artificial turf occupied the remaining panels.

One Farrer Hotel, Singapore

Establish a landscape deck that is resistant to mould and algae in the hotel’s open terraces at level 6.

VersiJack^® height and slope adjustable pedestals were used to support raised pavers on One Farrer Hotel’s newly renovated open terraces at level 6.

Splash Pad
1. A constant 4 mm gap between pavers maintained by Spacer Tabs mounted on the pedestal tops allows water issuing from the fountain spouts to seemingly disappear upon coming into contact with the paver surface, keeping areas beyond the boundaries of the raised paver area completely dry.

2. The pump mechanism and required cabling for the pump are safely and unobstructively hidden in the void space beneath the raised pavers.

3. A layer of porous EPDM rubber flooring was then installed onto the pavers.

Green Lawn (Artificial Turf)
VersiCell^® was installed to provide drainage beneath the artificial turf.

To establish raised timber decks at the club’s terraces that are resistant to mould and algae as the terraces are directly exposed to wet conditions, especially rain.

Elmich’s VersiJack^® height and slope adjustable pedestals and aluminium joists were used to support the raised timber decks at the club’s terraces. Unsightly services are hidden beneath the raised timber decks but are readily accessible for maintenance when required. Necessary adjustments for height were made with the screw and locking ring system in the pedestal creating a level surface for members and guests.

CapitaSpring – Project Glory, Central Business District (CBD) Singapore

To establish a raised wooden deck that is resistant to mould and algae in a constantly wet and damp environment by the poolside.

Elmich’s VersiJack^® height and slope adjustable pedestals were used to support the bearers beneath wooden planks for the installation of a raised wooden decked area beside the pool near the hotel lobby of Citadines Raffles Place at level 9. Unsightly services are hidden beneath the raised deck but are readily accessible for maintenance when required. Necessary adjustments for height were made with the screw and locking ring system in the pedestal creating a level surface for residents and visitors.

Marina One, Singapore

To create a lightweight and efficient drainage layer for landscaped areas.

To create a raised paving system in the M&E facility.

To provide waterproofing in several areas.

2,700 sqm of VersiCell^® sub-surface drainage cells were installed as the drainage layer for landscaped areas. With its narrow profile, VersiCell^® allows for greater soil depth to accommodate a larger variety of plants than drainage media like gravel.

5500 units of VersiPave^® lightweight paver supports were used to create a raised paving system. Independent chocks on pedestals enable minor height adjustments at each paver corner to ensure a levelled surface for pavers with varying thickness.

Fleximent^® 201, Bitulen^® 180, Eurathane^® 2000 and Synthaprufe waterproofing membranes were also used in several areas of the development.

Marina Bay Sands Halls A, B & C, Singapore

Raise the base of the floor slab for building works using reconstituted timber.

VersiJack® (50 – 74 mm) height adjustable pedestals were used to support the weight of the entire pavilion structure.

VersiFrame® was used to create an aluminium substructure for the pavilion as a better alternative to conventional timber battens/joists. In line with Onewood’s versatility as a structural building material, Elmich recommended a joist system that could match up to its stability and strength.
