Elmich, together with nine other Singapore companies, was featured in a video and book publicity in connection with the 2012 National Security Conference organised by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and supported by the National Security Coordination Secretariat (NSCS) and Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), with Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SITF) as partner on 22 August 2012.

The conference was opened by Mr Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs and brought together representatives of the local business community, business leaders and industry experts to discuss and learn more about cyber security and measures they can take to secure their businesses. In an increasingly unpredictable business environment, security is an important aspect of business and commercial operations that involves the entire organization.
Since November 2011, Elmich has been certified by TUV according to BS 25999 and SS 540 – Business Continuity Management. Our systems and processes that are critical to customer service, sales support, supply chain, finance and HR are able to weather sudden adversity, whether due to a major disaster or a minor incident, ensuring that Elmich remains resilient and robust to serve our customers even during challenging and unexpected circumstances, including situations involving cyber security. Mr Ryan Lee, MD of Elmich, in the video feature said: “BCM certification is critical for our business to assure more than 25 global business partners that we are fully prepared to grow our business with them”.
