To provide pedestal support for granite pavers around the central atrium of the Lotus-inspired Museum and provide a viewing platform for patrons.

VersiJack^® pedestals support granite pavers to a height of more than 600mm, bringing the paver surface level with the lotus pond forming the surrounding moat. The pedestals are easy to install and are height and slope adjustable to achieve a firm and level paver surface. Unsightly services are hidden beneath the raised pavers but are readily accessible for maintenance when required. The paver deck also provides the capillary break necessary to eliminate efflorescence. Spacer tabs maintain a uniform gap between pavers that allow water to freely drain away and the pavers to dry out quickly.

The paved deck forms a grand viewing area around the central atrium where patrons are able to enjoy from all angles, the lotus pond and the corresponding picturesque backdrop.

Sentosa Boardwalk – Singapore

To provide bearer support for timber decking and to conceal numerous services beneath the 620 m Boardwalk running from Vivocity at Harbourfront to Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa Island.

Approximately 15,000 VersiJack^® S pedestals employing only 2 extenders each to attain heights of more than 500 mm were positioned throughout the entire length of the Boardwalk covering an area of about 8,000 sq m.

Bearer holders were used to secure metal bearers on the pedestals. The height adjusting screw and lock ring system for height adjustments integrated into each pedestal ensure that pedestals are maintained at their intended heights for the installation of the timber decking.

Private Residence @ Astrid Hill – Singapore

To provide pedestal support for thick granite pavers at pool surrounds, courtyard patio and area immediately around the building structure of the residential bungalow.

VersiJack® pedestals are easy to install and are height and slope adjustable to achieve a firm and level paver surface. The raised paver deck hide essential services and provides the capillary break necessary to eliminate the formation of efflorescence on the pavers. The hidden services are easily accessible for maintenance when required. Spacer tabs were used to maintain uniform gaps between pavers to facilitate efficient drainage of surface water and keep the pavers dry.

Plaza Deck @ UOB Plaza – Singapore

To provide pedestals to support granite pavers mounted on thick and heavy concrete modules at the Plaza Deck between the bank and office towers.

VersiPave® pedestals have individually adjustable chocks at each quadrant of the pedestal that effectively enable pavers of irregular thickness to be installed and yet achieve a firm and level paver surface, able to support heavy human traffic flows each day. The raised pavers hide services and provide the capillary break necessary to eliminate efflorescence and also allowing the waterproofing membrane below to be easily accessed when necessary. Integrated spacer tabs ensure that uniform gaps are maintained between pavers, enabling water to freely drain away and the paver surface to dry out quickly, enhancing safety for the many people who pass through the Plaza Deck each day.

To provide low height bearer supports for installation of decking at large sun deck area beside the swimming pool, the front porch at the first level and open deck area at the 2nd level of the Club House.

SpiraPave pedestals are easy to install and height adjustable in progressive 1mm increments, making it the ideal low-height bearer support for the installation of the wooden-decked areas at this condominium. Bearer holders attached to the pedestals keep parallel joists securely in position prior to and during installation of the decking. The raised decking hides unsightly miscellaneous services and allows water to drain freely away, keeping the wooden-decked surfaces safe and dry.

Children’s splash-play area @ Paterson Suites – Singapore

To provide secure pedestal support for granite pavers at children’s splash-play area at one end of the swimming pool of the condominium.

VersiJack® pedestals are easy to install and are height and slope adjustable to achieve a firm and level paver surface. The raised paver deck created provides the capillary break necessary to eliminate efflorescence. Services, including the pump system for the water jets, hidden below, remain readily accessible for maintenance when required. Spacer tabs, positioned to match the various angles of the pavers, were used to maintain uniform gaps between pavers that allow water to freely drain away and the pavers to dry out quickly.

W Residences @ Sentosa Cove – Singapore

To provide pedestal support for installation of pavers at rooftop Jacuzzi terraces.

VersiPave pedestals with extenders added to bring them to the appropriate required heights were installed to support pavers at the rooftop Jacuzzi terraces. VersiPave pedestals have four quadrants, each with individually adjustable chocks that keep paved surfaces level even when paver thickness are irregular. The raised pavers eliminate efflorescence, allow services to be conveniently hidden, as well as provide thermal and acoustic insulation. Unwanted water freely drains through the gaps between pavers enabling the paver surfaces to dry out quickly on the terraces.

Resorts World Sentosa , Singapore

To provide the Green Roof system to facilitate planting on both regular low-slope reinforced concrete flat roofs and also large expanse of sloped Corus Kalzip profiled metal roofs in the park totalling 35,000 sq m.

Elmich Green Roof was chosen because the wide structural spans of the immense roofs to be greened, one of Asia’s largest, and fast track construction of the park demanded that the system selected must be light and easy to install.

Elmich Green Roof comprises a VersiDrain^® 25P water retention and drainage layer, a geotextile filter layer and EnviroMix^® GR, a primarily inorganic soil-less lightweight planting media and drought-tolerant plant species that require little or no maintenance.

For the metal roofs, VersiCell^® structural drainage/insulation cells were used to fill the space between the metal ridges to create a flat level surface on which a separation sheet and geotextile filter fabric were installed. VersiDrain^® 25P drainage and water retention trays were then installed on top and a filter fabric positioned over the trays enabling 100mm of EnviroMix^® GR to be spread over the trays for the planting of selected drought-tolerant plants.

VersiDrain^® 25P facilitates efficient drainage on the green roof. Water and nutrients stored in the cell network of the trays is returned, via capillary action, to the planting media during dry spells, sustaining healthy plants with minimal maintenance. An automated irrigation system was incorporated on the roofs for use during the initial plant establishment and also to deliver regular supply of water and nutrients to the plants.

Waterproofing for the concrete roofs is provided by a fully adhered layer of Evalon PVC/EVA terpolymer membrane, a root-resistant waterproofing membrane, also supplied by Elmich.

Hilton Convention Centre, South Bank Melbourne

To provide a secure decking support system and to reduce the structural weight on large outdoor terrace areas.

Supplied by Ken Hitchcock Designs and installed by 2 Construct, VersiJack eliminated the use of heavy masonry block work supports thereby substantially reducing the weight bearing load on the building structure. Another major advantage of VersiJack is that during the installation process, the membrane is not penetrated in any way. This reduces the long-term likelihood of hard-to-fix leaks occurring, which are traditionally very costly and difficult to access.

VersiJack is infinitely adjustable from 75-1000mm and incorporates a bearer support that accommodates even warped 40-80mm wide bearers.

The Arte @ Thomson – Singapore

To provide paver support for paver installation at the landscape grounds of the condominium.

SpiraPave height adjustable pedestals were used to support pavers along pathways and the landscaped grounds. Spacer tabs were used to facilitate accurate spacing and alignment of the pavers. The raised pavers eliminate efflorescence and allow services to be conveniently hidden. Rainwater freely drain through the gaps between pavers enabling the paver surfaces to dry out quickly.
