VersiJack height and slope adjustable pedestals were used to support the wooden decking of the open roof deck and corridors on the rooftop of OUE Bayfront.
Cavity space beneath the raised decking hides cabling and other essential utilities while gaps between the flooring panels enable surface water to drain quickly. These benefits combined with the pedestal’s high compressive strength keep the decking areas dry and safe for visitors and patrons of the restaurant at the rooftop to enjoy panoramic views of the Marina Bay and cityscape.
MediaCorp’s involvement in the restaurant, ME@OUE allows for terrestrial star gazing as well as the celestial. The view from the wooden decked corridors and open deck outside the restaurant offer picturesque views of Singapore’s cityscape, a mesmerizing sight when daylight fades and bright city lights come on and are mirrored in the calm waters of Marina Bay.
