The Business Times and Lianhe Zaobao spoke to three winners of the Enterprise Transformation Award in the annual Enterprise 50 awards for 2018, 2019, 2020 to find out how they did it, how Covid-19 has accelerated the need for transformation, and how businesses can embark on their own transformation. One of the winners featured was Mr Alan Lee, Elmich’s executive chairman.
“The pandemic and the resultant disruptions to the supply chains… significantly affected the availability and costs of imported products as well as the availability and costs of our own products that are used both locally and exported… During this period, we took the opportunity to review our strategic business plans and re-chart our growth plans, improve our product innovations and production tool designs and improve our marketing collaterals.” said executive chairman Mr Alan Lee.
