Evalon^® V – installed at the roofs and external decking areas, 1st Storey driveway deck and Taxi Pick-up/Drop-off over basement structures, 3rd Storey timber and pebble-washed finish deck, landscape deck and water features.

Eurathane^® 2000 – all wet areas, including toilets, M&E rooms and 2nd Storey external corridor areas.

Fleximent^® 201 – water-retaining structures, including reinforced concrete water tanks and water features.

Marina Bay Sands Waterfront Promenade – Singapore

To provide waterproofing membrane protection prior to casting and installation of granite pavers along the Waterfront Promenade and facilitate under-screed drainage to allow entrapped water in the screed to discharge.

VersiDrain 6P sheets, installed prior to casting over the waterproofing membrane, offers immediate protection against inadvertent membrane penetration or damage due to installation of various services at the promenade. Waterproofing is provided by a fully adhered layer of Evalon PVC/EVA terpolymer membrane. VersiDrain 6P is covered with geotextile fabric followed by a reinforcing wire mesh on top.

The capillary break created by the sheets between structural slab and topping screed prevents water and salts in the screed from migrating upward and also releases hydro-static pressure by allowing the trapped water and dissolved salts to discharge, minimising efflorescence and possibility of cracking on the surface.

To provide waterproofing for 3 curved landscape roofs.

Waterproofing membrane (Evalon^®) was installed on 3 curved landscape roofs. The landscape roofs create additional open amenity space, insulate the building, cool the surrounding air and assist in harvesting rainwater for landscaping irrigation. The curving green roofs blend landscape and structure, nature and high-tech with an organic and vegetated form that distinguishes the building from among the other structures on campus.
