The \u201cgreen\u201d of Elmich Green Roof and Elmich VGM\u00ae<\/sup> Green Wall<\/strong> proudly grace the new South Wing of the Temasek Polytechnic. The green roof carpets almost the entire roof of the new wing except for a section occupied by Photovoltaic cell panels whilst the living wall encompasses both the broad-fronts of the building facade, effectively enveloping the new building in living \u201cgreen\u201d. The Living Roof and Living Wall played a major part in helping the Temasek Polytechnic’s new South Wing to clinch the BCA Green Mark for Buildings ( New Non-Residential Buildings ) Platinum Award 2012<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nTogether the green roof and green wall are part of the Polytechnic\u2019s pledge to \u201cbring education to life and life to education\u201c, creating a conducive learning environment and simultaneously showcasing the Polytechnic\u2019s continuous effort to be eco-friendly and sustainable.<\/p>\n
