Whereas a BlueGreen Roof can be installed during building retrofits as it operates independently from the waterproofing and drainage systems of the original roof.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cDuring a heavy rainstorm, this system may reduce surface runoff on the roof up to 30%. Rainwater will be collected into a stormwater detention module e.g. VersiDrain\u00ae BG for daily irrigation of green plants on the roof.
