Over two weeks from the 29<sup>th<\/sup> of September to the 10<sup>th<\/sup> of October, the public was invited to take part in the festivities and through it, come to appreciate and understand the spirit of architecture in Singapore.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Festival Pavilion for this year, situated at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza, is a take on a familiar heartland landmark, the void deck of a HDB flat. Designed by Kite Studio Architecture, the pavilion is a reinterpretation of everyday Singapore, with the iconic hole in the wall and the mosaic tiled communal chess tables installed around the pavilion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-12434\" src=\"http:\/\/elmich.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20180929_135457-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"20180929_135457\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/elmich.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20180929_135457-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/elmich.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20180929_135457-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/elmich.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/IMG_0167.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-12432\" src=\"http:\/\/elmich.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/IMG_0167-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0167\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/elmich.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/IMG_0167-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/elmich.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/IMG_0167-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Elmich products were used to create community green benches for visitors to sit on and enjoy the festivities. Constructed from a base of <a href=\"http:\/\/elmich.com\/asia\/products\/versitank-553-555\/\">VersiTank<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> 553<\/a> and a <a href=\"http:\/\/elmich.com\/asia\/products\/versidrain-60\/\">VersiDrain<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> 60<\/a> attached on top, the planter box was then filled with real turf to form green benches, suitable for sitting or lying down on. As sponsors of the festival, Elmich was invited and presented with a certificate of sponsorship.
