Elmich is proud to be involved in the transformation of Singapore from a ‘Garden City’ to a ‘City in a Garden’ by the installation of their slope protection and drainage products VersiWeb® and VersiCell® at Gardens By The Bay, which officially opened on 29 June, 2012.
Spanning 101 hectares, Gardens by the Bay is an integral part of a strategic plan to transform Singapore from a ‘Garden City’ to a ‘City in a Garden’. The aim is to raise the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. The Gardens have been designed with the environment in mind, adopting environmentally sustainable technologies and is intended to be a statement in sustainable engineering and energy efficiency.
VersiWeb® installed on the perimeter slopes of the Flower Dome serve to protect and enable planting on the slopes, whilst VersiCell® provided the sub-surface drainage in the planter boxes above the underground car park at the entrance to the Gardens.
