The Brunei Cancer Centre (TBCC) is a new 13-storey building with a budget of BN$100 million, regulated by the Ministry of Health. Construction commenced in year 2012 and the establishment will adopt global best practices and bring in state-of-the-art facilities to cater for local patients seeking cancer treatments, thus negating the need for treatments abroad.

The Greenbuild International Conference and Expo is the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building. This year, it will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Centre from 5th to 7th October. Greenbuild is an event where members of the green building community who share this interest meet; creating a synergy that lasts throughout the 3 day show. The show promises to keep visitors engaged with their various speakers, the many networking opportunities, showcases, workshops and tours lined up.
Green Thumbs 2016 was held on Saturday, 24 September at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. The park was buzzing with activity and excitement from morning to evening with its truckload of activities. Mr Desmond Lee, Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and National Development was at the event announcing a funding boost of $5.6 million over the next four years for Singapore’s landscape industry.
The Civic District is the birthplace of modern Singapore and marks the beginning of the country’s historical, architectural and cultural heritage. Plans for the Civic District enhancement works were revealed during the Draft Master Plan 2013 exhibition and will be completed in phases by end 2016.
