This year, it will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Centre from 5th to 7th October. Greenbuild is an event where members of the green building community who share this interest meet; creating a synergy that lasts throughout the 3 day show. Green Thumbs 2016 was held on Saturday, 24 September at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. The park was buzzing with activity and excitement from morning to evening with its truckload of activities. Mr Desmond Lee, Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and National Development was at the event announcing a funding boost of $5.6 million over the next four years for Singapore’s landscape industry.
The Civic District is the birthplace of modern Singapore and marks the beginning of the country’s historical, architectural and cultural heritage. Plans for the Civic District enhancement works were revealed during the Draft Master Plan 2013 exhibition and will be completed in phases by end 2016.
