Designed by Singapore-based horticulture talent Ms Erin Gotangco, titled “The Bibliophile’s Garden” clinched a Silver award for the 2016 Balcony Gardens Competition during the Singapore Garden Festival.
Elmich conducted a “Green Wall and Green Roof Systems” seminar attended by 78 interior design students from Raffles Design Institute (Singapore) on 25 July 2016.
The Singapore Garden Festival (SGF) is a biennial event in its 6th edition held from 23 to 31 July 2016 at the Gardens by the Bay.
Mr Wavven Ng Sheng Wei, a graduate from Temasek Polytechnic, School of Design, Diploma of Environment Design, has won the Elmich Course Medal Silver Award for his Final Year Project, Portsdown Residences. The Lycée Francais de Singapour (LFS) has expanded rapidly since it was founded in 1967. When the French school of Singapore moved to its current site at Ang Mo Kio, the campus was designed to accommodate 1,000 students. Over the past years, student numbers were increasing constantly and eventually the Executive Committee had to make a decision to build a bigger campus to cater to this growing student population.
Head Start for Elmich’s Sustainable Products – First To Be Rated ‘Very Good’ By SGBP in Their Respective Product Categories
As a testament to its onus on sustainability, Elmich’s Green Roof, Green Wall, Drainage, and Turf & Slope Stabilizer products have been awarded the Very Good rating (2-ticks) under the Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certification scheme administered by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC). The Club boutique hotel located at Ann Siang Road underwent a nine-month extensive refurbishment before reopening in August 2015, and featured newly defined spaces as well as four food and beverage options under one roof including the highly acclaimed B28 underground whisky bar and Tiger’s Milk, the first Peruvian themed rooftop bar in Singapore. In the heart of Sydney’s heritage precinct, is the multi-award winning two-storey Forest Lodge ECO House designed by Code Green Pty Ltd. Originally, one of the last vacant blocks in the city, Chris Knierim, Managing Director of Code Green approached the council with the assumption that they would want the design to blend in with the rest of the heritage homes in the street. Instead, the City of Sydney Council encouraged a contemporary design that would be distinctly 21st century.
During the Singapore Aboriculture Society’s Annual General Meeting, Mr Ben Gooden, Managing Director of Citygreen presented to its members on the applications of Structural Root Cells and showcased numerous case studies worldwide. Read more
