What is Euraplan®

Euraplan® is a UV-resistant PVC-based waterproofing membrane that is reinforced with a polyester fibre mesh, to bolster the membrane’s strength and elastic capabilities.

Euraplan®, attributing to the membrane’s outstanding resistance to weathering and permanent UV irradiation, can be utilised as an exposed waterproofing membrane. Thus the membrane may be installed on flat roofs and decking areas for both exposed and concealed applications.

Euraplan® boasts high resistance to ageing, tensile strength, and vapour permeability, which makes it excellent for a variety of climates, and the membrane meets the fire performance standards of the European Union.

Euraplan® meets DIN 4062 standards for root resistance which makes it an excellent choice for vegetated/green roofs.

Substrate quality:
The substrate must be uniform, smooth, and free of any sharp protrusions. Metal surfaces should be degreased with cleaner before the adhesive is applied.

Compatibility:
Not compatible with materials containing bitumen, tar, oils, solvents. In order to prevent direct contact with polymers of other groups, such as foamed polystyrene, polyurethane, polyisocyanurate, phenol-containing foams, it is recommended to apply a separation geotextile or glass-fibre mat layer.
