Elmich has signed an investment deal with the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Company (SSTEC) on 8 March, effectively taking advantage of the platform provided by the SSTEC and the International Enterprise Singapore’s (IE Singapore) fresh funding support for Singapore-based companies looking to enter the North China market. With this deal, Elmich is targeting to establish a new branch office in Tianjin by the 4th quarter of 2012 to service our clients in Beijing, Tianjin and northern China.

Administered through SSTEC, Tianjin Eco-City’s master developer, the new funding covering areas such as marketing and testbedding is available on top of support currently available. Under IE Singapore’s existing Tianjin Eco-City Assistance Programme, a company may receive a grant of up to S$150,000 for setting up a physical presence in the Eco-City. The new funding will make available a further S$9.5 million to help companies expand into Tianjin through the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City over the next five years.
